The Facility
Two in-ground pits which are 7 feet deep and are filled with loose foam cubes which was designed to minimize risk/injury when learning high level skills. The facility uses the highest standard equipment which is upgraded regularly.

History
The University Gymnastics Centre was designed by Roger Becker, a former Canadian National judge, and Jon Kolb, former head coach of the University of Calgary's Men's Gymnastics Team. The facility was completed in 1987 with a budget of 7 million dollars. The University of Calgary has won 4 University national team titles and 5 individual national all-around titles since it's conception in 1987

Teams and Programs
Olympic Men's & Women's Gymnastics Team, and Trampoline and Tumbling Teams. The Gymnastics Centre provides programs for the University of Calgary varsity teams, competitive power tumbling for boys and girls, as well as child and adult recreation classes.
