 Operations Mission Statement To provide and promote educational and developmental opportunities in recreation, sport and lifestyle activities for students, employees, alumni and the general community. The Faculty of Kinesiology facilities are operated and maintained by the Operations Unit. For scheduling information on these facilities please contact the Operations Office at 220-2831. The indoor complex is 44,000 square meters, and the outdoor playing fields covers 20 acres of land. The Kinesiology Complex facilities consist of five gymnasia, two dance studios, one 50-metre swimming pool, two combatives rooms, a gymnastics centre, two indoor climbing walls, a 200-metre, six lane indoor running track, two aerobic rooms, 13 squash courts, seven racquetball courts, two weight rooms, eight classrooms, four lecture theatres and two conference rooms, six outdoor playing fields, four outdoor tennis courts and three outdoor beach volleyball courts. The complex is home to the Faculty of Kinesiology’s Human Performance Lab and the Sport Medicine Centre.
